Whitelist & Blacklist
Manually control which IPs are always allowed or always blocked
Introduction
The Whitelist & Blacklist feature gives you manual control over IP-based access. While ZeroBot automatically detects bots using AI and fingerprinting, there are cases where you need to explicitly allow or block specific IP addresses.
Whitelisted IPs bypass all checks and are always allowed through. Blacklisted IPs are always blocked, regardless of whether they appear to be human visitors.
How Whitelist Works
When an IP address is whitelisted, it is always allowed through all ZeroBot protection layers:
- Bypasses VPN/Proxy detection
- Bypasses Datacenter blocking
- Bypasses Fingerprint verification
- Bypasses Captcha challenges
- Bypasses Country/Device restrictions
Open Whitelist & Blacklist
Go to Dashboard → Whitelist & Blacklist from the sidebar under IP Authorization.
Add IP to Whitelist
Enter the IP address in the Whitelist input field and click Add. The IP will immediately be granted unrestricted access.
How Blacklist Works
When an IP address is blacklisted, it is always blocked from accessing your protected links:
- Blocked before any other check runs
- Applies across all services (Antibot, Shortener, Redirect Generator)
- The visitor is redirected to your bot location URL or shown a block page
Add IP to Blacklist
Enter the IP address in the Blacklist input field and click Add. The IP will be blocked immediately.
Where Whitelist & Blacklist Apply
Your whitelist and blacklist are enforced across all ZeroBot services:
| Service | Whitelist Effect | Blacklist Effect |
|---|---|---|
Antibot API |
IP always passes as human | IP always blocked as bot |
Link Shortener |
IP bypasses all checks, accesses shortlink directly | IP blocked before reaching destination |
Redirect Generator |
IP bypasses redirect protection | IP redirected to bot location |
Captcha |
IP skips captcha challenge | IP blocked before captcha is shown |
Managing Your Lists
From the Whitelist & Blacklist page, you can:
- Add IPs — Enter an IP address and add it to either the whitelist or blacklist.
- View entries — See all currently whitelisted and blacklisted IPs in a table.
- Remove entries — Click the delete button next to any entry to remove it from the list.
